If your girl also loves ballet, you can go totally girlie and have a Ballet Tea Party.
Here are some ideas to make this fun and sweet specialty party a reality.
On your invitations, make sure to tell the girls to wear tights and leotards and, if possible, ballet slippers or slipper socks
Make adorable pink Tutus out of pink tulle. Sew the tulle onto a piece of thick pink ribbon and tie around each girl's waist as she comes in the door.
Hire a ballet instructor or a teenager who is advanced in ballet to teach the girls some ballet moves
Play Swan Lake music by Tchaikovsky in the background.
Instead of a large cake, serve cupcakes with Ballerina figurines on top of each one. Pink frosting, as always, is required.
Have each girl get her picture taken with the birthday girl and the ballerina instructor in a beautiful ballet pose. Then the girls decorate fun foam picture frames as the take home gift. Print out the digital pictures to put in the frames.
Even better, this adorable "Home Ballet Studio" would keep the girls occupied for quite some time!
